INOCLEAR Warranty
[INOCLEAR / INOCLEAR+ / INOMATTE]
Limited Warranty Guidelines
Inozetek provides a limited warranty for InoClear, InoClear Plus, and InoMatte paint protection films. Our warranty covers the following:
Manufacturing Defects: Inozetek PPF is covered against defects in material or workmanship that result in yellowing, cracking, bubbling, or delaminating under normal usage conditions.
What is Not Covered
The following issues are not covered under the warranty:
Staining & Water Spots: Stains from contaminants (bird droppings, tree sap) and water spots caused by improper washing (e.g., washing under direct sunlight or letting water dry on the surface) are not covered. These can be avoided with proper care and regular maintenance. Water spots, once set, cannot be removed.
Damage from High-Pressure Washers: While high-pressure washing is not directly linked to water spots, using a high-pressure washer can cause damage by potentially lifting or separating the film from the surface. We recommend avoiding high-pressure washers to maintain the integrity of the film.
Use of Unrecommended Chemicals: Using cleaning or coating products not recommended by Inozetek will void the warranty. These products can damage the film or reduce its effectiveness.
Hydrophobic Property: The hydrophobic top coat of the Inozetek PPF is not covered under warranty. The hydrophobic property typically lasts 6-12 months depending on usage. To maintain this property, it is recommended to have the Inozetek Shield Network dealer apply Inozetek's recommended coating and maintenance package. For more information, please visit the Aftercare page.
Normal Wear and Tear: Any minor scratches, chips, or surface damage from normal driving conditions, including road debris, are not covered under warranty.
Small Chips or Surface Damage: Small chips or damage to the PPF surface caused by impacts from road debris, rocks, or other external sources are not covered.
Recommended and Unrecommended Products
To maintain the warranty and performance of your Inozetek PPF, we recommend using only Inozetek-approved cleaning and coating products.
Products NOT recommended for cleaning your PPF:
Window Cleaners: Most commercial window cleaners contain ammonia, which can break down the PPF film.
Automotive Wax: Some waxes may contain abrasives or harsh chemicals that can harm the film.
All-purpose Cleaners: These cleaners can have high chemical concentrations that can damage the film over time.
Solvents: Solvents such as acetone, rubbing alcohol, or paint thinner can degrade the PPF material and void the warranty.
Recommended Care Products:
Inozetek's Official Cleaner and Coating: Use Inozetek-approved cleaners and coatings to maintain the appearance and integrity of your PPF.
pH-neutral Car Wash Soap: A gentle, pH-balanced car wash soap is the best option for regular cleaning.
Soft Microfiber Towels: Use clean, soft microfiber towels to gently dry or wipe down the surface of the film.
Conditions for Warranty Coverage
To maintain the validity of this warranty, the following conditions must be met:
Professional Installation: The film must be installed by an authorized Inozetek Shield Network dealer or professional installer. Any installation errors or use of non-approved products voids the warranty.
Proper Care: The vehicle must be cared for according to Inozetek's guidelines, which include regular washing, avoiding harsh chemicals, and proper aftercare (such as applying coatings).
Registration: The warranty is only valid if the product has been registered on our website within 30 days of installation. To register, visit www.inoztek.com/warranty and click on the "Register Warranty" link. Normally, the Inozetek Shield Network dealer will register the warranty for you, but please confirm with them when you pick up your vehicle to ensure it’s done. If the product is not registered within 30 days, the warranty may be voided by Inozetek.
Aftercare
To avoid issues that could affect the performance of the paint protection film, please ensure the following steps are taken for aftercare:
Avoid High-Pressure Washing: High-pressure washers can damage the film by potentially lifting or separating it from the vehicle's surface.
Avoid Automated Car Washes: Automated car washes often use harsh brushes and dirty water, which can cause scratches or water spots on the film.
Avoid Washing Under Direct Sunlight: Washing the vehicle under direct sunlight can lead to the formation of water spots, as heat accelerates the drying process, leaving mineral deposits behind.
Warranty Period
To avoid issues that could affect the performance of the paint protection film, please ensure the following steps are taken for aftercare:
InoClear: 10 years
InoClear Plus: 10 years
InoMatte: 10 years
The warranty period starts from the date of installation, provided that the product has been registered within 30 days of installation.
